Which is better?

Neither replaces the other. Vitamin C has stronger evidence as a daytime antioxidant and brightener; glutathione is a gentle option for tan and uneven tone, often used at night. They also work together: vitamin C helps keep glutathione in its active form.

How to use both

  • Morning: cleanser → vitamin C serum (optional) → sunscreen.
  • Night: cleanser → glutathione cream.

GlutaNex Glutathione Night Cream already includes vitamin C alongside glutathione and niacinamide.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use glutathione and vitamin C together?

Yes. Vitamin C helps keep glutathione active. Many products combine them; if you use separate ones, vitamin C in the morning and glutathione at night is a simple split.

Is vitamin C better than glutathione for skin?

Vitamin C has more research behind it as a brightening antioxidant, while glutathione is a gentle option for tan and uneven tone. Using both often works best.
